Thornapple's Children's Ministries exist in partnership with parents to encourage children to know, love and follow Jesus, confessing him as Lord of their life. We believe that the parent has the greatest influence in a child’s life and that children are best served when mom and dad are intentional about building their faith. We believe it is our role to come alongside parents with supplemental tools and opportunities to help equip parents and reinforce what is being taught at home.
Sunday Morning Ministries include Nursery, Children's Worship, Promiseland, and Special Needs care. Nursery & Special Needs care is available at both the 9:00 & 10:30 services. Children's Worship is available for children aged 4 through 3rd grade during the 9:00 worship hour. Promiseland is for children 3 years through 6th grade at the 10:30 service. Wednesday evening family ministry begins with King's Kids at 5:15pm, then dinner at 5:45pm and all other activities at 6:30pm. For more information on our Wednesday evening family ministry, click here.
Fall Family Retreat: Each fall we spend a weekend up at Portage Lake Bible Camp learning and growing together as families and as a church family. To view pictures from the fall family retreat 2009, click here.
