The Color of Compromise – American Christianity’s Racial History (Jemar Tisby)

Andrew and Lynne will be leading a video discussion series based on The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby. This is a book both our own Love Mercy Do Justice team and the Evangelical Covenant Church recommends to help white churches become aware of the American church’s complicity with racism. The format will be two 20-minute videos each summarizing a chapter of the book (no purchase necessary) followed by break-out discussions.

This gathering will follow the hybrid model: Participants can attend in person (Thornapple Conference Room) or via Zoom (Meeting ID: 822 3691 2546 Passcode: 388690). You can attend any session you like and watch any missed chapter videos on your own timeline (we’re not recording the discussions).

The video series will be streamed through RightNow Media (sign up for your free account). Preview the series here (you will need to be signed up for RightNow Media to view).
