High School Retreat at Portage Lake Bible Camp | Feb. 8-10

PLCBC Director Dave Nesburg is going to be speaking about what it looks like to lean on God in the midst of trials and suffering; looking at how Jesus still not only walks with us but carries us through those times. We will also have the band “The Stray” leading us in worship throughout the weekend.

Along with hearing from Dave and The Stray, we will also have the opportunity to hang out with friends, play games, go tubing, jump into the lake (if you’re brave), or play bubble soccer or broomball. This is always an excellent weekend together, and we hope you can make it!

The cost is $110 per person and can be paid with a check on Friday, Feb. 8, before we leave for camp. We will have dinner at church at 5:00pm that Friday and we will leave by 5:30. We should be back by 2:00 pm on Sunday.

Packing list: pillow, sleeping bag, towel, toiletries, water bottle, warm clothes, winter coat and snow pants, boots, hat and gloves, Bible, notebook and pen, tennis shoes (for gym), bathing suit (for polar plunge). Money for lunch on the way home.

Registration deadline is Jan. 27, but payment can wait until Feb. 8. Please make all checks out to Thornapple Covenant Church, and write “High School Retreat” in the memo line.
