- New-B-Q (and College Lunch) | Sunday, April 27 following worship in the Community Center for any individuals or families who have started calling Thornapple their church home in the last 12 months is invited to join staff and elders for lunch. Learn more and RSVP HERE.
- Cascade 6K for Water | Saturday, May 17. Donate (you can donate the to the team as a whole or select "Roster" and donate to a specific person on the team) to or join the team HERE.
- Linda Winer Celebration | Sunday, May 4 following worship. Join us for lunch and a time of sharing and celebrating Linda's 25 years as Director of Middle School Ministries.
- VBS 2025 | June 23-26. Registration opens May 1.

Nursery (birth to 3-years-old) and Kingdom Kids (4-years-old to 6th grade) | 10-11am | Everyone checks in the middle Lobby by Door B; nursery age children can be brought downstairs before worship; 4s-6th grade start in worship with families until they are dismissed around 10:20. Parents can pick up children in the Lower Level following worship. The third Sundays of the month, 5th-6th grade will worship in the Sanctuary with their families and join us for Communion.
Middle School (7th-8th) | Start in worship with families until they are dismissed around 10:20. The third Sundays of the month, students will worship in the Sanctuary with their families and join us for Communion.
HS Huddle | Sunday evenings, 6:30-8:30pm.
Pine Rest Church Assistance Program
Complimentary counseling (and other programs – just say “I have a CAP with Thornapple Covenant Church” when you call to make an appointment) for you and your family and access to a virtual library of mental health resources (use the password “Thornapple” when prompted). Learn more HERE.
Stephen Ministry

Making a Difference
- Hearts for Sewing | The group meets Noon-3pm the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. The sewing group still needs donations of 100% cotton flannel fabric, or monetary donations for us to purchase these supplies. All donations can be brought to the church office or you can contact Diane Kunkler for more information. Thanks to all who have donated.
- Foster the Family Info and Volunteer Opportunities | Foster the Family is renting space from Thornapple in our storage space under the Community Center and has volunteer opportunities (noted below) for both individuals and groups.
- Deliver clothing, supplies, and a meal to a family welcoming a child
- Make a meal for a family in need
- Write a note of encouragement to a caregiver
- Help at or host an event for our families
- Help caregivers take a night off by providing/hosting respite care
